If you are still using the 1.0 profile, go to Edit Profile, and switch to the 2.0 profile.
Now go to the Profile menu to Customize Profile. Click No Theme and click preview, all style should disappear.
Now go to CSS (circled above) and paste in the code for the layout you want to use.
Click Preview and make sure everything looks right and then click Publish.
If your layout does not display correctly, be sure you have No Theme selected.
If you are using a default style 2.0 layout, don't choose No Theme, choose "default" (next to no theme).
